Content

 The Museum Wildeanum in 1697-1698 with on the right Czar Peter the Great of Russia and on the left the owner, Jacob de Wilde. In the bookcases, full of large illustrated works, spaces have been left open for two globes by Blaeu. Geometric instruments hang on the cases. Jacob de Wilde (1645-1721) had a famous coin collection. His well-known Museum Wildeanum, which was on the Keizersgracht in Amsterdam, however, also contained statues, carved stones, Egyptian antiquities and paintings.
