Content

 Portrait of Clement de Jonghe (1624/25-1677), publisher of books and prints in the Kalverstraat in Amsterdam. He was a friend of Rembrandt and the owner of most of his etching plates which were first described in 1679 in the inventory of his estate. This print is a sixth or later impression.
