Content

 The library of the Peace Palace in The Hague holds a large collection of "Grotiana", works by and about Hugo de Groot, the founder of international law. The library also contains a number of precious old prints in the field of the history of law and associated fields from the collection of De Groot. In 1935 a booklet appeared about the library from which this photograph montage by Piet Zwart originates.
