 Elegant readers in a Dutch train with foreign magazines that were also sold in the Netherlands. In the fifties, weeklies such as "Paris Match", "Marie-Claire" and "Jours de France" were models of French style and elegance. On the cover of "Paris Match" a photograph of Grace Kelly and Reinier of Monaco, whose marriage on 19 April 1956 was sensationally and widely reported in the media at the time. And German magazines, ten years after the war, were also acceptable again.
