 To spread the investment costs of voluminous books each one of two or three booksellers might have a part of the edition printed for his own account. In such cases there are several issues of the same edition, each with its own imprint. Here Laurens Jacobsz and Cornelis Claesz from Amsterdam and Aelbrecht Hendricksz from Delft participated in such a cooperation.
