 Catalogue of the lending library of Hendrik Scheurleer, founded in The Hague in 1750. It is subdivided by subject and has some 5,000 entries with its prices mentioned. Librarians of lending libraries mentioned these prices also with an eye to selling them, so that this kind of catalogue also served as a retail catalogue.
