Content

 Gold-tooled plain vellum binding with wrappers over the front edge. Both boards are tooled with a panel design with the same ornament in every corner. And in the centre the coat of arms of Prince Maurice. In the Koninklijke Bibliotheek various books with the arms of Maurice have been preserved. They were, in view of the practically uniform finish, probably made by the same binder and probably also around the same time.
