Content

 Binding of white vellum batiked in various natural colours. Both boards are decorated with the same fishbone-like pattern. In the first half of the 20th century there were notably many women binders. With the economic crisis a long-lasting period of decline set in. Dieuwke Kollewijn was one of the few women binders who could continue working.
