Maurits Cornelis Escher (1898-1972) is undoubtedly one of the most famous Dutch graphic artists. His lithographs and woodcuts are often very ingenious spatial constructions with a game of polyhedrons, perspective and reflections. This edition contains six woodcuts by the author. It was published by the `Stichting De Roos', in 175 copies intended for its members.
