Content

Title page of the so-called `Boeren-Cats' (Farmers' Cats): a simply published text of the poet Jacob Cats, who was also immensely popular in the 18th century. Of this kind of moralistic printed matter, cheaply executed and printed in large quantities, much has been lost in the course of time.
