 Detail from a page from another 'Tboeck vanden leven Jhesu Christi', printed by Gerard Leeu in Gouda. The illustration, a woodcut coloured by hand, was printed from another woodblock than the previous example, but the depiction is the same. The large bookcase shows the usual way of storing books: flat and stacked on top of one another.
